At the Academy for Pianistic Excellence, we believe that becoming an exceptional musician means growing not only as a pianist, but also as a well-rounded artist and individual. Additional Information

Housing

On-campus housing is available for students ages 15 and older who attend APEX independently, at a rate of $700 for the week (6 nights) and includes breakfast.

 

Students 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A variety of nearby hotel accommodations are available for families, including the Hilton Garden Inn and Woodcliff Hotel & Spa.

Financial Aid

Need-based scholarships are available to qualifying students. Applicants seeking financial assistance should indicate their need on the application and submit either their most recent FAFSA or federal income tax return. Scholarship decisions are made at the time of admission; applicants must submit a completed festival application to be considered.

Health Insurance

Participants are responsible for their own health insurance and should confirm that they have appropriate medical coverage during their stay in New York State.  APEX does not provide health insurance.
